  • Anti Roll Bars required.

    hello All

i have hilux or be it a VW taro (same except for the badge).

the truck has intergrated camper unit on the back and it makes the truck sway all over the place thus i require the front and rear anti roll bars.

any of you who have some laying around now is your chance to flog them off.

i need the front ARB with all the fittings/bushings/bots etc and the rear ARB with the same fixings

i live just out side berlin and finding a hilux out here is like finding rocking horse poop.

also any ideas on which shocks are the best for the increased load on the rear.

    kind regards

    kevin summers.

you may be better off getting the 20% uprated springs from www.milneroffroad.com and perhaps some es9000's which will give a much firmer ride or go for the es3000's for a slightly softer ride with the springs

Rite then if they fit on a 3lt d they should fit on 2.4d perviding that the wheel track is the same, any chance you could check? if you think they fit, bag em up and email me a price - my work email is kevin.summers@anecom.de

Rich, you might want to unbolt the brackets from the chassis that hold the links from the ARB's. I doubt it'll have them, also remember its a pickup with leaf springs on the rear, so might not have mounts on the axle for the ARB.

It's all overcomable, but might not be a straight bolt on.

The Taro has rear leafs and the Surfs have coils as you know. I'm not sure if they'll fit.

                            arbS

yep just finished fabricating ARB brakets to fit it, also had to invert the rear arb and sit it on top of the axle.

the front arb is ok but was designed for the surf only with space for 4x4 transfer box, had to mount it 100mm off from the chassis (existing mounting points) and cut 20mm of the end of the bar which means i now need to drill 2 new holes to fit the links, appart from that its going ok, should have it done by friday night. off now to DIY store, need more steel and 10mm rod so i can fabricate some axle U bolts.

pictures will show up here soon maybe.

                            thanks for information though.

                            regards
