My 2 Labradors were in the back of my surf after being on a nice walk. However as I was putting the rear window up they decided they didnt really want to be shut in.
As I was putting the window up they put their paws on the glass and jammed it.
Now the window goes down fine on key and button, but sticks when going up, it does go up but needs a little help.
I've had the back off and all the runners are nicely greased etc, but I suspect that whatever connects the motor to the mechanism is slipping.
What does the motor use to drive the mechanism? Is it a plastic cog?
I've not had the motor off yet as from reading on here its wuite a big job and if the motor is shot i'd rather have another on standby, but if theres a chance it could be repairable i'll take hte plunge!!
Any advice etc would be greatly received!
