  • Trip meter replacement

Hi, My trip meter recently stopped working, I think something has snapped inside. Does anyone know if it is possible to get a replacement or does it involve replacing half of the dash??
    Cheers.

Have you tried just pressing the reset thingy a few times? They sometimes lock when you reset them. Mine does it every so oft. A few presses on that sorts it.

Yes, thats what broke it I think!! I have had the dash out and had a quick look but didn't want to try and remove it without checking first that you can.

        Trip meter

Exactly the same issue on my K7N-185 (1996)

I found that pressing the reset button no longer helps. It's not reading at all now.

Can the trip meter be replaced or repaired or does it mean a whole new instrument cluster/new speedo?

        Thank you.

Same here. Stopped working a while back, pressing the reset doesn't help either. Shame really because i found it very useful.
            Now it's time to play!
