Locked rear large tail gate, remedied took off plastic panel by removing floor schutle to give more leverage then large metal panel with the electronics fitted.
Placed screw driver into arm of lock, pushed up and unlocked tail gate, phew.
Now the tail gate is open, found that the door handle when pulled up moved the lock mech from its secured position (black plastic mech ?) and I found where the screws hold onto the rest of the mech it was broken. Secured for now with zip tie.........but need the mechamisim......its held inplace with 3 rivets.
These require drilling out and the new one inserted..............could anyone help by letting me know where i could obtain one of these.
All the electrics are fine, central locking works, cables are fine, rear window works with key inserted.
