Where can I buy a inner CV joint from? Milners and Roughtrax can't help me... I'm gonna try my local 'yota stealership later... but that scares me!

If you do go into the Toyata dealers, make sure you have your VIN number with you (plate on bulkhead at back of engine) as the parts guys should be able to trace what you want from that. And don't let them fob you off by saying "it's an import, can't help". All dealers should be able to access the system for any Toyota, regular import or grey import. Usually if they say they can't help it's because their too lazy to look for and order it.Mike G

Hi Damian,
I ended up buying complete drive-shafts off breakers off ebay for cheap and just swapping them over complete.I even got a brand new genuine toyota complete drive-shaft for pennies! Same as the IFS pick-up MK3.
The CV joints dont seem to give any problems unless they dry out of grease and get dirt in or run at steep angles off-road. I even got a brand new genuine toyota complete drive-shaft for pennies! Same as the IFS pick-up MK3.
Another option is take your drive-shaft to a drive-shaft rebuilder. About £120 I believe for new everything.
As to your question of where to buy an inner CV joint- I have`nt a cluePowered by Toyota!
