Bodylifts are basically the same as for 2nd gens, except you'll need a spacer for the steering shaft joint.

Yeah, the nitrogen filled shocks are, but in that link it shows yellow shocks for a "more comfortable ride."

cool all i want now is to hear from someone who has experienced them,
mine as standard has NOT got the soft/hard setting and its a hard ride, ok on road but harsh off road.

Sorry mr skipper, only just got back from hols.

                    http://www.hiluxsurf.co.uk/forums/sh...ghlight=dusted

The ride is 100% better and also stiffer, but this is how they should all be. I found the toyota suspension very sloppy so the tjm kit takes care of that. Never used or tried procomp but they are supposed to be similar to the tjm ride but a little cheaper. 2" Bodylift and 33" bfg's took it up to where it sits now and i love the ride, looks and height.

                    Pitfalls: none

Advice: When undoing loaded spring compressors, make sure chin is well clear of flying nut!!

with your now stiffer suspension whats its articulation like offroad, i thought you needed it soft like a disco for good articulation(sorry for mentioning the unmentionable)
