    Hi Bushwhacker, ive done a few searches and found out which LC springs i need. Did you do a write up? do you need to change the shocks or anything else to get the 3" lift. cheers

        One of them is gas the other is oil. Whichever is best in a shock is what the ES9000 has! It self extends also. an is a firmer shock absorber

          I thought one was neutral (es3000) and one was positive,stiffer (es9000) and both were available in gas or oil fill at different prices.

            apparently one is designed to be used with coil springs, and the other is for leafs. In real terms 9000s are stiffer than 3000s, technically though one's an oil filled shock (3000) and the other (9000s) are a gas shock....









            ....to joe public they're cheap as chips replacement shocks available in pretty much any length you could care to ask for and whether you want the stiffer 9000s or the boat like 3000s is down to personal preference.
