internal roof supports

can you guys help, am fitting a roof rack and want to strengthen the roof first. i seem to remember mention of internal ribs that support the roof skin. can anybody tell me where i can get them and what they are. part no.s would be a great help.

i think the roof ribbs are allready in place, like the ribbs that support the bonnet, and the question is moor like,

what is the measurement center to center of the roof ribbs? and where do i measure from.

sorry that this answere isn't very helpfull, i have noticed from outer threads that people have pulled loose the roof linning to see where they are.
