  • Steering "stops".

    I have a Model No. Y/K2N130W/GKPQT 3.0 Surf SSRX.
On extreme full lock, I get a grinding noise from the steering.
My little local garage chap reckons that, "the steering stop on the front axle is like a bolt and there is supposed to be a plastic cup on each of them".
It seems mine have worn away.

Any ideas what they are and where I can get them, please.

I wouldn't bother getting new caps, they don't last long, just grease them.

If you want them, got ones for a 93-95 4Runner from a Toy Dealer.

Thanks for the help, much appreciated.
I didn,t do a search for "steering caps", because I didn,t realise that was their real name.
