2" suspension lift

i am now looking at doing a 2" suspension lift using the uprated springs from roughtrax/milners and combining this with a set of procomp shocks too.

which shocks do i go for? gas or oil?
have no idea on a 4x4, track toy yes but no idea on a surf.

is there anything else i should look at getting when i do this?

Go for Gas mate, works better off road as the oil filled can get hot when worked hard and not work so well then.
