Good evening

To cut a long story short anyone thought of fitting a pressurized header tank and removing the expansion bottle like most cars.

I,m sure I read something about that on the Oz site, or possibly Yotatech or Toyotadiesel.com but I can't be sure.

I think there were technical difficulties, and/or no actuall practical gain by all the work and expense.

The system on the surf is already a sealed system, as it is sealed by the rad cap, and the tank is just for "blow off", so to fit a sealed expansion tank, you'd have to remove the rad cap/thermostat assy. and modify it to themostat assy. only etc.

As said, I don't think you'd actually achieve any practical gains.
