  • Brake servo

my brake servo's on its way out, can anyone tell me if it's something I can recondition myself or do I need specialised tools and would it be better to replace it altogether? Bearing in mind my mechanics are at an amateur level...! Oh yeah, it's a 1st generation surf, so parts are like those for mk 2 pick up: rocking horse s***, so replacement could be another big challenge.
    Thanx!

Parts are not hard to come by , check eblag for pick ups being broken , loads to choose from !!
Not to hard to change , a pin connected to brake pedal , and 2 nuts bolting the servo and master cylinder.
The servo is a sealed unit so no self fix .
