  • springs upgrade?

Hello, long time since I have posted anything so here goes..

I have had a Guardsman double dog cage (heavy) fitted in the back of the Surf,
When the dogs are in the cage there is very little clearance between the bottom of the muguard and the tyre. I can just get my clenched fist in between the tyre and mudguard.
As the cage is now going to be an almost permanent feature of the truck, would it be best to fit the Milner upgraded springs to bring the Surf back end up level or should I go the full 2" taller springs and shocks route?

I'm hoping the Milner springs will sort it as cash is in short supply at the moment.

    Thanks in advance.

Landcruiser springs are MUCH stronger, and fairly cheap, but may lift the truck more than you want (~3" above stock height).

I dont know how much stiffer roughtrax 'stiffer springs' are. Might be worth giving them a shout and talking over your requirements.
