Hi, does anyone know about the uprated cast iron replacement head for 2.4 and 2.8 engines? Apparently they are Japanese. So has anyone got one fitted? Do they fit ok? Or any horror stories?

head was fitted summer last year,absolutely no overheating probs, just bottom end gave up.

As far as I know, Toyota altered the 2.8 head to make it better, which fits the 2.4 as well, or the 'uprated heads' I normally get from Stevo are made by someone else, with redesigned water channel between the valves.
