  • HELP - changing shocks - 3rd Gen

    Hey guys,

I've bought a full set of ES3000 from LA Supertrux and am going to change them today. Anyone give me the low down on how it's done please ??
    Cheers

2x 14mm nuts on top, followed by 1x 17mm nut under them. And undo the bottom nuts easy mate, but the top ones can be a fiddle.

Then a test at drumclog on the 15th

Excellent mate, cheers, I will try and make Drumclog for sure once she is MOT'd etc.

So, I dont have to mess with the springs on the front ? The shocks come out thru the springs ?

      Cheers

Coil springs need to be compressed on the front or they'll kill you.

Thanks very much for that. Bought spring clamps today. Got one of the struts out and in the process of compressing the spring. At what point do I know I can undo the top nut ??
                Cheers
