Back Window Wiper

I KNOW THIS MAY SEEM A SILLY QUESTION BUT I NEED TO KNOW IF YOU HAVE TO BUY A FACTORY SPECIAL BACK WINDOW WIPER FOR MY 2nd GEN SURF OR WILL A NORMAL REPLACEMENT WIPER BE OK. ANY REPLIES MOST WELCOME, AS THE WIPER LOOKS VERY TROUBLESOME TO REMOVE.

I just replaced the blade part of mine with a Bosch one from halfords. Works fine too

I believe both roughtrax and Milners do sell a full replacement though if you prefer

Most UK Hilux pick up arms will fit. They are the same two screw fitment as the rear on the Surf, think Halfords do a conversion kit for them as well.

I put one off a Renualt Laguna the other day. Had to hacksaw about 2" off though to make it fit!

Back Window Wiper

CHEERS BUT I THINK I HAVE A MOTOR PROBLEM.
FOR SOME REASON THE WIPER ARM FALLS BACK DOWN ON TO THE WINDOW
WHICH STOPS THE WINDOW FROM SLIDING DOWN.
ITS IF THERE IS NO STRENGTH ON THE SPINDAL WHERE THE ARM IS ATTACHED. I FEAR MY MOTOR IS NO GOOD!
