Bull bar installation help.

Hi, I have a '93 3.0L V6 SR5 4Runner with a stock A Bar installed.

I've got a new bull bar which I want to install, which came off a Surf,
is this a relatively easy job for a novice or should I get a garage to fit it rather?

As long as you've got any brackets needed it's a nice easy job. Should just require a 17mm socket and handle, to undo the old one, should be held by the same 4 bolts as the tow hooks. Offer the new one up and stick the bolts and tow hooks back on. Not a bad job at all, but an extra pair of hands to hold the weight of the bar as you take it off and put the new one on could make it easier.

The bolts should be quite tight so a long handle (or breaker bar) for the socket could be useful just to get them started
