        you should run it through a relay, and be aware that it has a thermostat so will only draw when warming up.

          Why not one of the forum members on here Phillip here markets the better idea by using the water system to heat the fuel no complicated relay systems slaving off the alternator... or speak to Tonyn Dr Anglegrinder

            Tony may have fuel heater, but i have non left although the one i have on my car and fitted by Tony has been working great for over a year. Unfortunately, although i say myself, they are great, but not cheap to make and as not selling them quick enough, don't now make them anymore.

              Mine is after the fuel filter .......ran well when it was -5 on the plain and on a 50/50 fuel mix

                I have that type. I got the dual glow plug 1 and fitted it after the filter as well. Seems ok to me.
