Combi Boiler

Right i have just had to have a new combi boiler fitted yesterday as the old one nearly blew off the wall.
The question is,is there a part of the old one that can be used as a inline fuel heater to heat up the vegoil.I still got the old combi here at the mo and before i dump it i thought of asking you lot first

The quick answer is yes. There should be a heat exchanger on the central heating circuit.

Thanks sancho i thought there was something but just needed to double check before wasting unneccessary time stripping it down

It might be a bit on the big side and may have copper in it though.

Either way, it's not very complicated to get inside a boiler and take it to bits once it's not going to blow your face off anymore.

i'll have a good look at it before fitting to the truck tho to be on the safe side.
