Anyone got any tips for getting one of the rubber hoses off the rear heater.
Just above the prop-shaft there are metal lugs sticking thru the floor from the rear heater, they are piped mainly in small bore metal but with a shaped rubber pipe and clips joining the two.
I can get the clip loose and slide it down the pipe but the ruber pipe just wont pull off the lug!!!
    Anyone???
    Cheers

grip the pipe and twist it with a pair of pliers as its probably molded itself to the metal pipe. Not to hard or you may split it

make sure you got some new pipe first tho to replace it with and then just cut the old $$$$ off and have done with it

Why is it always those little "ten minute jobs" that take all bl**dy day?
Went to yota yesterday and bought red coolant, intending to whack it in today. ( well, it has been running on pure water since i changed the rad on august 3rd!!!)
Thought i'd get that pipe off as its one of the lowest points on the system.
Now it looks like i'll have to take the bash plate off, drop the A/C rad then loosen the botto rad hose......

put the rad cap on the drivers seat so she knows it has to go back on.Did the pipe just mold itself to the metal pipe then

Yes mate, once you'd confirmed my thoughts that nothing else was holding it on, i got some pump pliers up there and gave it a twist +tug.
Thanks for your replies Richard, much apprciated mate!
