  • fitting new shockers

    hi all
what kind of a job is it to fit new shockers ?
    it's a 92 2.4 auto
i guess a lot of stuff is gonna be well stuck being 12 years old on the original shocks ????
    any thoughts anyone ?

    regards Paul..

Sometimes the top nut jams, but if your replacing the shocks, its OK to get a pair grips on the shaft, or hacksaw/grind them off. Only really a problem if you want to reuse the shocks.

Use an antiseize product or grease for ease of assembly, plus will help some poor bugger in the future who has to get them off again.
