  • fan belts

    can anyone help me and let me know the layout for the fan / alternator and air con belts are fitted???

    Do you mean the order in which they are fitted?

    Alternator belts first, then the air-con belt then the power steering.

    Some useful stuff here too....

      Could do with a pic showing which pulley's all the belts go on as me water pump seized and broke the fan belts (2.4lt 1994 Surf)

        Can't help with a photo, but the bottom pulley has four belt grooves, the two nearest the engine are for the alternator belts, the third groove is the air-con and the front groove nearest the radiator is for the power steering belt.
