Hi folks,
Just bought my first Toyota, which appears to be a 3rd Generation (always thought a Surf was a Surf!) so I would like to do some off road mods.
So far I've fitted a stainless tow socket, which I can fit either tow ball mount or recovery D shackle and later on (pennies pending) a demountable winch.
I've fitted 265/75/16 Enduro Runways which I love, tried loooads of AT's but these seem to tick the most boxes, I had these on my 90 which went everywhere!
The info I need is about lifts (suspension/body) as I cant find a lot of info on this Generation of Surf
Looking at the suspension set up, it looks very similar to the Vitara (could this be the roots of the hair dresser puns
) if so, great because I make body and suspension lift kits for the Vit guys in my off road club
Rear diff, is it a LSD? if not can it be swapped out with either a LSD or locker from say a land cruiser?
Roof rails. I have the channels in the roof, what bars fit? ones that go across or ones that run down the length? and where's the best place to find them?
