renewing pitman arm

help plz. i'm just fitting a new pitman arm
bought from milners , the old one has clear scribed line to aline it on the spline ......... the new one don't.. if i'm a spline out will it matter ??

not steer straight or steering wheal not alined 4 straight ahead ???

what a bugger to remove the old one had to slice it open !!!!!

Transfer the mark on the old to the new. Simple as that unless I'm missing something.
