fuel filter change

Am about to change my fuel lter for the first time, my question is ...do i need to remove the main feed to the filter before i remove it as i know it is loose enough to be removed by hand

just remember which pipe goes on where.I normally take the pipes off first and the wire plug at the bottom to make things a bit easier

or better still pour a bottle of redex in to the filter before fitting

Good point. Especially as veg probably lifted $$$$ out your system

Mark one of the pipes and connectors with tippex so you know where it goes. I failed to do this and took 10 mins flattening my battery after it conked out trying to start it.

all done ...no probs at all. All came of very easy, and yea , i poured half bottle of redex in as well as derv.
thats for all advice
