check the glow plug fuse in the bonnet cant remember if it is 40 or 80 amp but i blew mine whne i changed teh glow plugs and had the same problem also try cycling the plugs a couple of times befor starting ie turn key wait till teh bleep then turn of and on again and wait fo rteh second time for it to bleep than fire it

it sounds more like the glow plug fuse gone though if it is just turning without firing as if the plugs arnt geting hot enough
!!!My Rice Krispies told me to do it!!!

It's affixed by a nut/bolt? underneath the fuse box.

Also it might be the sensor in the top of your fuel pump that actuates the diesel flow when engine turns, I had that problem, pulled of the plug and pushed it on again and it fired within a turn. Worth a try

It will start without glowplugs, just takes quite a bit of cranking and runs lumpy for a couple of minutes.

Also get your batterys checked, they may be weak.

Toss some redex in it, the injectors may be blocked and worn. Recon injectors make a huge difference to how a truck starts if yours are bit iffy.

i can hear the relay clicking off ok the problem started when i put the veg oil in but i have added loads of diesel since to no avain i have used veg oil b4 and it never gave me this problem it sounds as though its not firering then when it starts its as though its a bit fuel starved for a couple of seconds then it runs fine after that its doing my head in think i might have to take a trip to a garage with her
                        thanks

                          Re

Have you changed your fuel filter recently?

Maybe it is struggling to get fuel because of gunk from using veg oil?

As your cranking for ages is she puffing out black smoke at all, or any smoke for that matter? If she is, then you have fuel supply! If it not then it could be and airlock or maybe suffering from some runback overnight if so fit a one way valve near the pump. Does she start well even if you leave her for maybe 5 hrs or so? Its a cheap idea and worth a go before paying garage bills.
