started to remove radiator undone the 4 bolts disconected the 2 hoses 1 at the top 1 at the bottom next to the bottom hose there is another small hose when i undone this one its got oil in it whats it for i was exspecting it to be full of water the same as the others the oil smells like gear oil

TRANSMISSION OIL from the Gearbox plug the pipe or you'll lose it.
Its a cooler as well as a Radiator. 2 Sections one for engine other for gearbox

Correct! The bottom part of the Rad is for cooling the Trans Fluid.

yup alot of autos are easyer to refill through teh dip stick but dont re-cycle use clean and fresh is teh only option
