Seen some higher pressure rad caps 1.1 bar on some of the performance websites are they worth a try for long journeys up mountains just thought they might stop the water boiling into the expansion tank

Maybe they will but if you got this problem then the radiator would probably explode instead.

It probably would, but it's not really the way to fix whatever problem is causing it to boil off like that.

BTW, what mountains are you having problems with in Kent???
