Hi All,
As promised here are some photos of the items I painted with acrylic recently.
They look a hell of a lot better than they did as they were faded/yellowing and generally very grotty.
The steering surround and the altimeter cluster were originally from a grey surf!
Keyed them down with one of the wife's washing up scourers and sprayed about 6 light coats of Hicote Satin Black Acrylic.
They are VERY black and satin shiny and the marks that can be seen are actually reflections and stuff, not stains or the old colour coming through.
The camera wasn't very good either.
Take it from me they are like new!
