Those ones are used by Audi. -
They will work as i have a Fuel Cat HEATER UNIT on my 3rd gen, but remember it makes no difference on startup which is actually the problem. I am running on 100% veg oil as the weather is quite warm (the unexpected benefit of global warming) without any problems, even on start up. Even i am rather surprised that i have NO knocking on start up etc.

Like wise I don't have any problems with running SVO but just wondered if the unit would create enough heat (albeit when the engine is at temp) to make it worth the £50 or so, will it cope with the Surf's greed for fuel . Seems very cheep compared to some other type of fuel heaters, I did see a injector heat kit from Oz but that was $200AUS (electric) to over come the start up problem some have. Just thinking ahead to the summer and the news that if you use less than 2500L of SVO/WVO no need to pay duty/tax or register.Originally posted by Philip
