Hi All,
Today I managed to get a replacement pump from a breakers and I went to change it as it seemed an easy thing to do.
What a bugger, I cannot get the nut that holds the pulley on, off to get at the main bolt that holds the pump on!! (what a stupid place to put it!).
Nor can I undo the nut that holds the metal pipe that feeds fluid into the pump!
It is stuck fast and I am afraid of ringing it!
I think that they are seized!
How the hell do you stop the pulley from going round when you try to undo the nut????
After loosing my knuckles I cannot fathom how I am going to get the pump off!
Any advice on how to do this?
Thanks!
Gary
