when should you stop putting grease into the balljoints...
At what point is there too much...

Obviously the bladder expands, but at what point should one cease...

Too much of a good thing etc...

I normally give 5-6 pumps for good luck, my ball joints have a overflow in the boots so too much grease & it spurts out of there

You can't overdo the ball joints. It'll just pump any excess out of those little rubber nipple things. (Though if you fill 'em, just wipe all the grease that'll have pumped out after a day or two off the back of the hubs).

Thought so... the rubber boots on the ball joints didn't look too well and it just seemd to keep swelling up... but none had come out...

I'll get the grease gun out to them tommorrow...

My ball joint boots don't have the bleed hole in them. I just put enough grease in till they swell enough to almost fill the gap between ball joint and control arm.
