I'm looking for a specialist in the general vicinity of Nottinghmshire. Think I might need a new engine, though hoping I can get away with just replacing some parts (if I should be so lucky)
Ran out of oil, think the bottom end has gone, can hardly drive the hilux for the noise it makes!
Any advice????

thanks, will try stevo tomorrow. Have just found that the cam is offset (1987 2.4TD surf, import) so will be difficult to track down another engine, or so I've been told by suppliers. Joy!

Stevo is your best bet dont bother with anyone else YET.
He rebuilds engines for a living & he's damn good
