  • Suspension control arm squeeks

I bought a '90 2.4L-T surf about a month ago and couldn't be happier with it, except for this one small thing: the left front suspension squeeks incessantly. Sticking my head under the truck, I think I've located the noise coming from the suspension arm pivot. (I've attached a picture of what seems to be doing the squeeling). I've tried spraying some WD40 into the area, but that didn't help at all. Anyone have (and fix) the same problem? or have a tip about what needs lube/replacement/etc?

    Thanks,
    Jonathan

Sounds like the bush is shot, WD40 won't do anything, it's an easing spray not really designed as a long term lubricant.
