I used to run 35" M/T's on a pickup at 25ish on the road, and the Boggers at 18, it all depends on your truck and the type of tyre.

The best way to work it out on large tyres is to slosh some water on a flat dry road, and see the tyre pattern the other side as you drive through it, if the tyres are to hard, all of the tread pattern equal across the whole tread pattern left be on the floor.

If they are to soft you'll get a lot of side to side float of the sidewall.

Best just to try different pressures and see what rides best, and watch the tread blocks for uneven wear.

Higher pressure will get you better MPG, but more wear on the middle of the tyre and not on the edges, and it'll slip easier in the wet and be easier to wheelspin.
