Sunroof problems

I have a British built 4runner and it was built with a sunroof instead of air con. The problem is that the sunroof motor has stopped working and I am having trouble finding a replacement, but the sunroof has started to slide down and it is letting in water. Does any body have any information on how to move the sunroof manually until I can find a replacement motor.

by the sunroof switch is a flap pull it down and turn it using a screwdriver
