Brake linkage under exhaust.

Is it possible to have the brake compensator linkage pipe re-shaped as I now tow a caravan and when all hooked up the exhaust seems to be only millimetres away. I imagine that it must make contact when moving over uneven ground. I am unable to move the exhaust any higher as it would then interfere with the towbar frame. If this is possible what does it entail work and cost wise.
