On the way into work this morning, I noticed when I turn hard, the amount of rear tyre I can see in the mirror changes. Not by much, perhaps an inch or so
The tyres are Khumo muds so probably have a more flexible sidewall than road tyres, AND I have landcruiser springs on the back (~3" lift) and all the associated panhard / anti roll mods. I also have a 2" body lift.
Slightly perturbed, when I parked up I checked underneath for anything loose around the panhard drop bracket / attachment points area, and couldn't find anything obviously loose. I tried shoving the truck sideways to see if I could get any movement, and only got body roll as you'd expect.
So, is what I describe normal? The handling feels normal, and I guess any slack in the panhard / trailing arms department would show itself as distinctly weird handling.
Tony was underneath a few months back and didn't mention seeing anything untoward, and I'll get underneath for a proper look tomorrow, but until then, can someone call me a paranoid idiot, and perhaps nominate me for the cellar, thus putting my simple mind at rest?
