if i do the wastegate mod with 2 mm washers will it give me boost at lower revs so i have better acceleration out of junctions ?

Not really just more of it and it is quite noticable too. mine used to boost to about 3.5k revs before, now well over 4k.

I did 3mm and turned the fuel pump screw 1/2 a turn. The impovement is well worth it.

i was thinking about the pump one as well but i might only do 1/8 turn so as not to push my luck to far having had a new head recently

I'll be glad when my fuel pump is leak free and the steering is sorted out and it stays fixed for a good while, then I'll worry bout making it go faster.
