Ok, could you please do me an idiots guide to it then please?

I am determined not to be ripped off. Everyone seems to think I have to send my car to a 'diesel specialist' and one guy was mentioning ball bearings!!!!!

The things people say to try and blag money off you!!!!!

COuld you do me a list of exactly what I have to do.

My car is a K Reg 2.5 TD Autromatic Surf SSRX. I want to do it myself but am newvous about doing the wrong thing.

My email is jon.davis@liverpool.gov.uk - please email me?

See the link that I posted in this thread yesterday and scroll down it. It shows the pump removed, you don't need to do that, just follow the instructions. It is a fool proof guide, it's exactly what I used.
Check that Aussie site in the link, it has loads of links on how to in the technical section.

Tony's list is about as idiotic as it gets .

When you have some time and a decent amount of light, go outside, open the bonnet and look for all bits that are mentioned. If you can see them all, just follow the instructions that Tony has posted step by step and you will get the job done easily. T

he pictures on the Aussie site (link earlier in the thread) should show you what everything looks like. If you can't find what someone's talking about or need some clarifying, post back in this thread (with a photo where needed) and someone will tell you what to do next.
