  • Need a rear brake light bulb??

This makes me feel very silly indeed but I gotta ask.

I have a 2nd Gen 3.0D. One of my brake lights dont work so can anyone recomend a good place to get a new one. I know from scanning this forum some of you speak of arrays as well as bulbs so I dont know exactly which I need?

Any help guys would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

Any car accessory shop. Just ask or look for stop/tail light bulbs.

on the 3rd gens, all the rear bulbs are the capless type.

No idea for 2nd gens but just thought I'd mention it

The bulb should be "head beginning to wobble now" a 380 bulb 12V 21/5W as the stop & tail lights are in the same bulb glass.

Any car accessory shop should have them by the truckload... they are fitted to lots of vehicles

How do you get at the bulbs on the Surf V6? I had a look round but can't quite tell.

Open the tailgate, and there are two bolts holding each rear light cluster, remove bolts (10mm socket)then remove light clusters to get to the bulbs.
