        The manual mentions the 2.4 motor as well, so its OK for all Toy diesels.

          Mobil Delvac 15W-40.
          Its what we use in all the Fire trucks and if thier turbos can't cook this oil then I sure as s#it wont.
          $60NZ for a 20 litre drum from Fleet Maintenance.......sometimes less if they are not looking

            I use Castrol GTD Magnatec, and put Wynns oil treatment in as well. Belt and braces but then thats me.

              i use magnatec 10w/40 too... bit on the pricey side though! but i think it's best to go for a good oil as i don't keep particularly regular with oil changes, and i do thrash the nuts off it!

              of course sainsbury's/homebase 10w/40 is probably the same stuff in a different can!

                Bought the Cheaper Tesco's stuff last night did the job, but still when I rev up the engine the oil pressure only reaches a maximum of just under the middle mark.. is that normal ???

                  try some flushing oil, could be abit sludgy in there??
