  • Noisy Front Pulley Bearing?

Apologies...I'm new to the scene! 2.4 SSR G Manual - What is the front pulley bearing and is it easy to replace? How does it affect the vehicle/drive?
    Thanks!

Do you mean the crank pulley at the bottom with all belts connected?

mine became noisey and upon inspection it seemed to be floating in and out, whitch means is NFG.

I got mine from toyota ( I think roughtrax do one as well) it was £109.00+vat.

Took about two hours to replace and I'm no mechaninc.

Get it done asap as if not then damage may occur to your drive belts and other expensive stuff!

Yeah not too bad, the pulley is fitted to a tapered shaft so may need some persuasion with a mallet type thing.

I used a universal pulley puller and locked the crank with two short lengths of studding screwed into the pulley to lock a bar through.
