  • 3 inch cruiser springs

I need new shocks all roun and have the usual saggy rear end

One option is Milners heavy duty springs and a set of standard height shocks.

Second option is to copy Andrewlee31 and others, and put landcruiser springs on and crank up the torsion bars

Third option is to buy a 2 inch lift kit including uprated torsion bars

I can't help thinking that winding up the standard tosion bars will mess up the ride and handling. I may dream of green lanes but most of my miles are on tarmac.

If you have done the Land Cruiser thing, what is it really like???

the 2" lift kit will only get you about 1 1/2" of lift.you will be better off going for the landcruiser springs the same as a few of us have

stiffer, better ride on road, if you leave the anti roll bars on ( ask bushwacker for a fitting kit) then match them with es 3000's and no problems with the torsion bars mate, it will knock your tracking out. i just wound mine up then got yota to do the recall work, complained it wasn't straight and true after they played with it and voila, free set up and they even washed it for me (the b@st@rds)

es9000's are stiffer but with the 3000's you'll get a ride between the hard and soft setting on standards. better road holding with the stiffer springs IMHO

I've got LC springs on mine. I would say you do NEED to change your shocks as my original yotas topped out with the extra height. +2" ES3000s sorted it. I would the bars up about 12 turns in the end I think.

Ride is firmer but great. I prefer it to standard.

Give Bushwhacker a shout for 'how to's' and bits required.

i got rid of my anti roll bars bit if you want to keep them you will need drop brackets for them as the 3in lift is too much really for the standard one. and the panhard rod needs either a drop bracket or cutting extending and rewelding. the kit bushwacker does has both of these and is a damm sight easier than cutting your panhard rod.

but im mean, and have access to all the toys, so i just chopped mine.

Even though I supplied you with an engineering drawing for the bracket, you took the easy way out!!
