spare wheel/tyre question

I have aftermarket 18" wheels on my 2nd gen surf , which were on when i got it, problem is the spare is a 16" will it be okay to use it in an emergency or would people suggest i try and get an 18" for a spare??? if i do get an 18 will it fit on the spare wheel holder on the back door???

If the over all diameter is the same on both wheels/tyres, then it would be OK to use.

no its less the 18's are 285/60 and the spare is 265/70 15"

You could use the 16" on the front if you ever have a puncture, just don't use 4WD.

Yep. On the front wil be OK as there's no diff to worry about with normal driving.
