4wd mode

have recently bought 1990 2.4 ssr surf just fried putting it in 4wd but just got intermittent buzzer sounding had 4wd displayed on dash, tried again but cannot get anything should overdrive be switched off ?? any suggestions ???

doesn't matter about the overdrive, never had a buzzer for anything to do with the 4wd though!

Did you leave the 4WD knob in Neutral? or did you try High-4 and Low-4?
