    Hi

Been having some problems starting up in the morning it normally takes about three goes before I can get the engine to turn over - its been doing this for months now. When I first turn the key it sounds like its going to catch but then I just get that old man coughing noise. I wait for the buzzin noise and my glowplug click - the plugs were all changed last week so I know they're ok.
I had a few problems with my fuel pump when I first got it I had to prime it all the time but thats been sorted so I don't think is related - had all the tubes and stuff checked for air leaks at the same time and a full service.

Any pointers would be appreciated -the dogs and I love our surf and want him fully functional

    Thanks

Have you had the batteries checked? I went through all the glow plug, starter motor, replays etc stuff and in the end it was the batteries on mine...

Thanks Linda - I'll check that - now I think of it when I was looking under the bonnet after I bought it the battery was covered in big oily finger marks so I think the chap I bought it off may have been having problems somewhere thereabouts!!
