  • Couple of useless tidbits

Well, firstly, a link for a homebrew boost controller:

    http://www.geocities.com/chmwatson/FAQs/mbc.html

Secondly, found out what that turbo info that someone was after a while
ago. Suitable replacements, with some minor mods, for the CT20 are the
CT26 and the Garrett T3/T4's, apparently. Think they all need some flange
    adaptors to fit.

Apparently, the CT26 is slightly larger than the CT20, but has more oomph.
Appears to be a better all round turbo, with minimum alteration required.
Apparently, Garrett T4 maintenance kits can be used on them, as well. It
would also appear that the 26 is far cheaper than the 20. I'm not
tempting anyone, honestly. What's the chances of finding a MR2 or Supra
        in a scr@ppers?

I don't think you'd benefit from a larger turbo, especially on the 2.4 'cos of the extra lag.
Unless you got a super duper free flowing exhaust.

I'm not even thinking of doing it, honest. 2-1/2" exhaust with a BOV
              should sort that bit out.
