Hello all, my Mrs has just been the victim of an attempted victim of a car jack. She managed to keep the surf but lost the drivers window in the process.. does anyone have one spare to sell urgently?

Hi m8 sorry to hear about the car jacking hope ur mrs is ok?
as for the window have you tried your insurance they may send out auto-glass or alike i dont know if it is a stock window though! other than that you could give hilux bob a e-mail he may be able to help.

If it is a 2nd Gen tell Auto Glass it is a 93 4Runner.

I have a drivers door glass in a brown tint.

I have a vehicle up your way on Thursday, poss? or nr jct 26 M1.

Virtually all fully-comp insurance policies include the provision of getting auto-glass to replace a window, and you only have to pay the excess which should only be around £50. Give your insurance company a phone call.

Got it sorted thanks.. and I am on trade insurance which doesnt cover you for windows..
