Rear wheel carrier

Hi Guys,
I wonder if any one in surf land can help me?
Do any of you know how to adjust the wheel carrier on a 3rd gen?
Rattling driving me mad.

If I remember correctly from my 2nd gen, there are two rubber discs on the carrier that hit on the tailgate. The rubber discs are on threaded studs - loosen the locknuts, wind out the discs until the carrier is tight - re-tighten the locknuts.
